Well things have been a little crazy around here. Between getting the old house on the market, work kicking our butts, and a certain game being released our free blog time has been reduced.
We did have a meeting with Nelson (our builder) last week to discuss some color changes due to a roof ordering snafu. He could not order the roof color we wanted since it was a special order so we had to change it and the trim color of the house. After agonizing days over the color choice, this did not thrill us but I think we came up with a nice choice. The house should be painted in the next few weeks so we will finally get to see if the pain was worth it or we open up the wallet and go back to the drawing board. Since we were out there during the week we did not take any pix and to be truthful not much has changed. So stay tuned!
As you may or may not know most of the houses at Agave do not have fireplaces. Some peeps we know (you know who you are) would not buy a house without a fireplace. Personally I find this really odd since the Texas' “winter” is something like two days. The city shuts down if there is any of the white stuff on the ground. To appease those of you who may want a fireplace in your home I found this site which has some neat green modern fireplaces.
