Looks like they figured out the driveway....... well sort of...
We like the look but are not engineers so we are not sure what happens when we get torrential rain. According to them it supposed to go to the "left of the house" and completely bypass the carport. The question is will we need a water car to get into the driveway and house. I think we need an engineer that can tell us what happens when we have those big rains (which happens now and then in Austin).
On a different note the stucco goes up on top soon and the roof after.. and drywall is coming soon. The doors are the wrong color and have to be repainted in a lighter green - Lemongrass. The very top will also be stucco with Lemongrass. No funny posting today no sir - we are boring today.

Looks like they've put a nicely done drainage slope right at the bottom of the drive, but I can see why you're worried about the drainage. I remember what a hassle it was on the Buda house where we had to retrofit a french drain at significant cost. Your situation is a lot better though. Not only do you have great drainage away from the house on that left side, even if the drive slope turns out to be inadequate you can always just go back and score the driveway concrete to improve the drainage. That's fairly cheap and pretty quick.
